At the Clayton County Animal Shelter, volunteers try to comfort a nine-year-old blind German shepherd. Sadly, he has been at the shelter since October 8, and his time might be running out. Rocky was rescued from a cruelty situation and is now ready to enjoy a peaceful and loving life. Can you help?
“Please don’t let me die here. My name is Rocky. I am a male black and tan German Shepherd Dog. The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old. I weigh about 47 lbs. I am located at the adoption center for Clayton County Animal Control in Georgia. I’ve been at the shelter since October 8th 2020.
“BLIND SENIOR LEFT IN A SHELTER TO DIE ALONE! NOT KNOWING WHERE HIS FAMILY IS OR WHY THEY HAVE NOT COME! NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT HE DID WRONG AFTER 9 YEARS OF SERVICE TO BE TOSSED LIKE TRASH!”
