On the east coast of Canada in the Province of Nova Scotia, James Blackwood has been caring for the raccoons living in the woods near his home for the last 25 years.
Blackwood’s YouTube channel shows many of his adorable encounters as he cares for the critters. A recent video of him feeding the raccoons hotdogs went viral.

“This was my wife’s project, and she died in 2003 of cancer and begged me on her death bed to take care of her raccoons and cats and her mother,” was posted on one of the videos.” I honored her wishes and took care of the cats and her mother for the next ten years.
