In Phoenix, Arizona, a tiny mess of tangles with urine and feces embedded into a heartbreaking young dog arrived on March 5 to the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control West Valley Animal Care Center.
Described as a male, white miniature poodle, this little guy was photographed as he entered the shelter, and this was the photo accompanying his description. Why wouldn’t the shelter have shaved him, bathed him or even clipped the mats enough so he could at least be recognized as a dog? After all, the shelter claims he is a pure bred poodle.
