At the East Valley Animal Shelter, Dez and Koda were surrendered because of “landlord/residential issues.” What a sad state of affairs when humans can no longer be responsible for providing safe and loving homes for their pets because of arguments.
Dez (A1997222) and Koda (A1997223) are bonded and do not like to leave each other out of their respective sights. Their advocates tell us the dogs were both shampooed and brushed and their groomer said they were easy and gentle. Dez kept his eyes on Koda, and the staff and volunteers can’t say enough about the love these two have for each other and for everyone around them.
So what did their owner say about the dogs even while they were being surrendered?
“He (Dez) likes to sing, sunbathe, always ready to play or relax, lives to please mama or papa.”

And how about Koda?
“She (Koda) loves attention/cuddling.”
