Meet Spot. Four years ago when he was just a puppy, he had been a Staten Island shelter dog. A family soon adopted him and then gave him away with the rescue’s permission. And Spot’s troubles began.
Spot was nearly starved to death and left in Pennsylvania tied to a pole. A Good Samaritan rescued Spot from certain death, and he was brought back to Staten Island. Fur Friends in Need, a foster based animal rescue stepped up to help him when he was placed on death row at New York City Animal Care Centers.
“NYC ACC death row survivor Spot is still in need of a good, solid, loving foster or adoption home and he’s not being shown enough love. Please show him so dedicated animal advocates love and share him far and wide so we can get him out of boarding at least by the end of Summer. Spot is still looking for a foster/adopter to help him through these difficult times. He’s been in boarding for 2 months now. He’s great with people, but he needs to be an only pet in home.”
