Very close to the Devore area of California, the heartless owner of three young and friendly puppies decided he no longer wanted to deal with the responsibility. And instead of taking the dogs to a shelter where they would be safe, fed, watered and offered to the public for adoption, this irresponsible person abandoned them in a rock quarry.
For weeks the puppies huddled in bushes hiding from the coyotes and an occasional rattlesnake searching for food. The puppies so wanted to be rescued; they didn’t belong in the desert scavenging to survive.
As luck would have it however, the person who manages the quarry, Ted reached out for help. Ted and his wife Cindy fed the puppies and kept an eye out for them while arrangements were made with Dream Fetchers Project Rescue. And late Saturday night, Faith Easdale and nine volunteers headed out to rescue them.

The dogs so wanted to be safe and were so happy to have human contact. They are now safe and lucky to be alive.
“I will never EVER understand or ‘just get used to these cruel dumpings’”.
