At the Wichita Kansas Animal Shelter, the pending overcrowded conditions becomes the sad setting for male dogs to be humanely euthanized. And on top of the list, is a very sweet Labrador retriever who is suspected of having contracted kennel cough.
According to the rescue group Beauties and Beasts, Inc. who share the news of shelter pets, hoping to help them find rescue and subsequent foster and/or permanent homes, this puppy is barely a year old.
“…originally passed evals to become an adoption candidate, but is not Rescue Pull Only due to possible kennel cough/exposure. He is neutered and chipped and is quickly running out of time.”
