A neglected, senior German shepherd has captured the hearts of shelter personnel at the Broward County Animal Care. Sitting obediently while looking up into the eyes of the staff, the 10-year-old reaches out her paw as if begging for help.
“Her expression – her paw out for help. This senior who was horribly neglected with a skin condition is pleading for help. No senior should spend their golden years in a noisy and overcrowded shelter.”
