Prudence has left the building! That’s what all the good news is about for a nearly two-year-old sweet pup who had lived nearly half her life at the SPCA Cincinnati animal shelter.
Late last week, the shelter announced that the 55-pound smiling pooch had been adopted by a loving family after having spent 220 days at the Ohio shelter.
“The queen has left the building. Her family is AMAZING. Prudence was instantly in LOVE. Our hearts are soooo FULL!. Although we will miss her dearly, we are so happy and emotional to say that she has found her FOREVER. Thank you to everyone who shared her, spoke about her and referred people to come meet her. YOU ALL HELPED US ACCOMPLISH THIS! #Happily Ever After”

Photos showed Prudence being hugged by her new family as she prepared to go home after jumping in the backseat of the family’s vehicle.
Prudence had been recovering from surgery to her hip as well as undergoing heartworm treatment, but the “sweet as honey” would soon be ready for her home. When she was available for adoption, her description included:
“Prudence has a few recommendations for her future family. She would like to be the queen of the castle, have humans that are willing to pamper her and receive a few chicken snacks here and there. Prudence is young at only 1 1/2 to 2 years of age! Prudence is a bit reactive on the leash but only because she gets impatient and frustrated that she can’t say hi.”

Let’s face it – Prudence just wanted someone to be her HUMAN, and it sure appears this adorable gal is getting her wish. Live a long and happy life Prudence – we wish you and your family the best.
