Owner surrendered ‘King’ because they didn’t want to be responsible for him anymore

Admin

As if there haven’t been enough dogs surrendered to animal shelters across the country, it can never make sense when the owner of a sweet, housetrained and mellow dog is walked into an overcrowded Houston shelter because his owner “didn’t want to be responsible for him anymore.”

Sadly, King feels the pangs of loneliness and just sits in the corner of his kennel cage with his head hanging low and appearing completely defeated. Apparently, King never received the memo he was no longer to be a part of the only family he had ever known.

Details:

Heartworm negative

Three-years-old

Weight – 60.5 pounds

Housetrained

Travels in the car

Loves men, women and kids
