Leonardo DiCaprio jumped into a frozen lake in Boston to rescue one of his dogs during the filming of a new comedy “Don’t Look Up.” DiCaprio plays an astronomer trying to save the world from an approaching comet.
According to the Insider, DiCaprio’s co-star, Jennifer Lawrence encouraged the actor to tell his story during a roundtable discussion.
It seems that one of the dogs fell in, and DiCaprio jumped in the frozen lake to rescue the dog, and the moment the one dog was safely on the shore, the other dog jumped in.
Everyone survived; DiCaprio ran for his car as he stripped down to nothing and changed into dry clothes.
“Don’t Look Up” is showing in select theaters now and will be available on Netflix beginning December 24.
