A 13-year-old dog was taken to a New York City Animal Care Center after a man found him in a box left beneath an underpass. The elderly dog, dubbed “Little Mac,” is being held at the Brooklyn ACC facility. Notes for Little Mac read:

Little Mac is a small tan male dog that was found on the street and was brought to the ACC as a stray.
A man came to ACC with a small tan male dog. The client stated that the dog was found in a box under and underpass.
The shelter behavior notes that the senior dog was relaxed and friendly with the shelter staff.
Now Little Mac could use some help to find a family to take him in. This old boy doesn’t deserve to spend the twilight of his life alone.
