Meet Smoke; the happy six-year-old pup arrived at the Orange County Animal Services (NC) as a stray. Someone had chopped his ears off in a homemade botched operation, and he also had an old eye injury which likely had never been treated.
So this big hunky boy weighs 84 pounds, and when someone sees him, they think what a big tough dog he must be! Now, here’s the best example of not judging a book by its cover; because Smoke is just “big and goofy” and oh so sweet.
When he arrived at the shelter, Smoke was a gentleman and stood for his physical examination. He didn’t even mutter a tiny ‘arf’ when given his vaccines.
Smoke loves toys, and the more he has around him, the happier he seems to be. So why not stop by and meet him? The shelter staff is sure it will only take a few seconds for this big goof to steal your heart.
he needs a good home with comfy beds and tons of toys. In fact, we hope his new family will supply him with so many toys that we get a photo of him with a new toy at least once per month… or even once per week. There really are no limits when you commit to spoiling a dog silly.
