Police rescue puppy muzzled with tape and tossed away into a dumpster

On Monday morning, police in the Dallas, Texas area discovered a small black and white puppy with her muzzle taped shut with tape and then tossed away in a dumpster as if she were just another piece of trash.

Fortunately, this little pup was saved in time and Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab. Reform stepped up to help. Was she thrown away, because when rescued her eyes were very red – either she has cherry eyes or an infection?

The puppy has been named Gypsy and has been transferred to the rescue organization’s partner veterinarian hospital. The shelter and the police are investigating this disturbing incident as a cruelty case and will move forward with animal cruelty charges when applicable.
