Adopted from Baldwin Park Shelter at 2 and returned to the shelter at 11 poor girl is sad and scared

Admin

A Labrador retriever had been adopted from the Baldwin Park Shelter in California when she was two-years-old, and on February 4, 2022, she was returned to the shelter – now 11-years-old with a painful eye infection.

It is heartbreaking to watch her video and hear her advocates describe how sad and scared she is at the shelter.

She doesn’t go in the inside of the kennel because it’s louder in there. So she just sits on the cold hard floor on the outer part of the kennel. So awful. We gotta get this sweet girl a family…

No updates have been provided as to the condition of her obviously infected eye, but she will need immediate veterinarian care.
