Heartbroken Dog At Florida Shelter Only Wanted To Be Cuddled

On Sunday, Gooko arrived at the Hernando County Animal Shelter in Brookville, Florida. According to the shelter, this sensitive pup didn’t even want to go to the play yard to meet the other dogs and enjoy the sunshine on his face. Instead, all he wanted to do was to cuddle with shelter volunteer Kim, and Kim followed his lead – lots of love and lots of hugs.

Kim didn’t have the heart to bring Gooko back into the shelter and sat with him for at least 25 minutes. Hopefully, he was reassured enough to realize how so many kind people are concerned about his future and trying to do everything possible to find him a loving home.
