Kentucky has been at the Riverside Animal Shelter in California for one-and-a-half-months. He has been marked “Status Red” which means he is in imminent need of rescue and in danger of being euthanized if not picked up by a rescue of adopted.
No one has paid any attention to Kentucky. He was previously listed as fearful, but according to volunteers he is anything but that! In fact, volunteers stated he did great hanging out in the play yard with them, Although he may take treats a little less than gently, that is a behavior than can easily be resolved.
Shelter Notes: Fearful/unsocial on intake. Showing severe signs of kennel stress. Has been in shelter for over a month. Needs exit.
