A woman from Hawkinge, Kent, United Kingdom, amazed everyone after she used her quick reflexes to catch her dog midflight after he accidentally fell out of an upstairs bathroom window 20 feet up from the sidewalk.
According to the Daily Mail, closed circuit camera footage captured the heart stopping incident as the woman stood on the sidewalk speaking to a window contractor when suddenly out of the corner of her eye she noticed a change in the sunlight shadow. When she looked up, she spotted her six-year-old border collie, Clarence, had pushed open the closed bathroom window and jumped.
The woman yelled at the man on the sidewalk to move, and she ran to the spot ready to catch the falling pooch. Miraculously, the woman was able to grab hold of the dog just inches away from hitting the sidewalk.
And the good news – Clarence was fine. His owner did say the dog had been particularly clingy since Covid 19, but who would ever have expected him to jump out a window just because he wanted to be with his mom?
