In Thousand Palms, California, a chihuahua puppy shot with an arrow through her neck is expected to make a full recovery after veterinarians performed surgery to remove the projectile.
According to the Riverside County Department of Animal Services, a woman reported finding the puppy after hearing “screaming” Monday in a neighborhood near Desert Hot Springs. A sheriff’s deputy picked up the four-month-old female puppy and brought her to the Coachella Valley Animal Campus for immediate treatment.
Fortunately the arrow had not penetrated any vital organs, and the puppy underwent surgery.
For someone to willfully shoot this poor pup with an arrow is disgusting. We are shocked and we hope someone can provide us any information as to who did this,
