In south Texas, a puppy had been abandoned in a cardboard box. She had been left alone on the side of the road, but she never left the box and waited for someone to help her.
A neighbor in the area spotted the puppy and gave her water and then called animal control. Meanwhile, the puppy never moved from the box. Temperatures soared to over 104 degrees with a heat index of 110, yet there she stayed and waited. It’s as if she was waiting for someone she knew to return to take her home.
Today, the puppy now dubbed Harvest, arrived at Dallas Dog – Rescue, Rehab. Reform. She is estimated to between 10 to 14 weeks old.
…she just came up from south Texas. She will be on quarantine for two weeks and then will be available for adoption on our website dallasdog.org
