Beautiful shepherd desperate for a chance to be loved before dying at California shelter

Admin

Meet Lindsay; another beautiful German Shepherd #A1788397 who entered the San Jacinto Valley Animal Shelter as a stray on March 27, 2024. The shelter has estimated her age as a two-year-old German Shepherd. No weight is given. No one came looking for Lindsay so now she’s looking for a new forever home. Can that be you? She is very friendly and well mannered. She really needs a family to love her. This shelter is full, and they are euthanizing for space.

According to shelter notes, Lindsay has been overlooked for 27 days and has been cleared for euthanasia because of signs of kennel stress. She had been sharing her kennel with another dog, and the two were friends, but that dog has since been removed. A long term foster offer and pledges to help these dogs given to an approved rescue organization have been the best ways to help if a home can not be found immediately.

Lindsay’s plight is extremely urgent, and the San Jacinto shelter gets very little adoption traffic because of its rather remote location.
